The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota (LFM) is a Minnesota-based non-profit organization which does not rely on government support and is not part of a national organization. For 35 years, LFM has provided services and supports to individuals throughout Minnesota, and our local service area. LFM relies on fundraising, donations and volunteer efforts to fulfill its mission of funding research, raising awareness and providing direct support to those who are touched by lupus.
As an organization with a small core staff, where less than 9 percent of total revenue in 2010 was spent on administration, LFM depends on your support to continue to offer vital services to those in need. We provide the following ways for individuals to get involved with LFM and make a real difference:
Financial Contributions — Direct financial or planned gifts
Time and Talents — LFM offers many opportunities for individuals and organizations to volunteer their time, skills, interests and passions
Goods — Used clothing and household items are accepted by the Lupus Pickup Service
