What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is the practice of using unique finger and hand techniques on specific areas of the feet and hands to promote relaxation and to stimulate the body and its healing process. It is based on the principle that reflexes are linked to the organs and body structures by energy channels and zones. When illness occurs, these channels become blocked. Reflexology opens these blockages, allowing the energy to flow freely again, restoring the body’s natural balance and good health. Experts estimate that ninety percent of disease is stress-related. Reflexology is an effective tool for managing stress, which translates into:
• Decreased anxiety
• Enhanced sleep quality.
• Greater energy
• Improved concentration
• Increased circulation
• Reduced fatigue
