Get on board for the new Fatigue Management Program II, a free six-week program designed specifically for those living with lupus …The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota and St. Catherine University Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Occupational Therapy Department have collaborated to build on its popular Fatigue Management Program with the addition of a NEW six-module physical activity program aimed at developing skills to improve flexibility, strength and endurance. A series of 6 program sessions will be offered in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis) as well as St. Cloud and Stillwater.
The Physical Activity Program’s unique design offers a comfortable and supportive environment where participants share ideas and concerns, paired with access to knowledgeable professionals providing an exceptionally well-rounded learning experience creating knowledge, techniques, tools and communication strategies designed to be used on a daily basis.The programs are open to all previous Fatigue Management participants (as the curriculum is new) as well as open to those joining the program for the first time!
Space is limited to 10 participants per session. Sessions run one day per week, two hours per session.
By registering for this event, you’re registering for the six week session, which includes sessions the following five Thursdays through November 21, skipping October 24, which is MEA weekend.
