A common and often overwhelming symptom of lupus is fatigue. Learn how you can lessen the impact fatigue has on your life with this free, online, fatigue management program with registered occupational therapist Arianna Thome. This unique, six-week online fatigue management program focuses on the development of an individualized plan to manage fatigue symptoms, as well as the opportunity to learn about the causes of underlying fatigue in lupus. Additionally, participants will learn strategies to manage fatigue, including how to protect joints, adapt exercise and fitness, modify tasks to conserve energy, and manage stress.
The six-week program will take place Wednesdays from May 27 through July 1.
Participants must have access to a computer with high-speed Internet access, a web cam, and a microphone with head set (or earbuds) for audio.
Free, but registration is required by Tuesday, May 26.
