    Lunchtime Yoga Class: Yoga Fundamentals

    In this gentle fundamentals class participants will practice a variety of standing and reclining asana (poses) with an emphasis on beginner modifications, breathing and relaxation techniques. Great for stress relief and overall relaxation, yoga can help increase flexibility and sense of balance, increase strength and provide the opportunity to practice the art of “presence” through gentle movement and focus on the breath. The class will provide extra time and assistance in moving in and out of yoga poses and postures, and attention to individual adaptations, as needed. Class is free but limited to 6 participants.

    Regan MOVES is an exercise program designed to help people living with lupus – and other chronic conditions – reduce joint pain, increase energy, and regain freedom of movement while exercising. This fitness class will help strengthen muscles that support joints without creating pressure or intense impact. Regan’s motto for the class is “we work smarter, not harder, on the joints, and if it hurts, stop.”
