GrantsFor 40 years, the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota (LFM) has been working to support those whose lives have been impacted by lupus in the State of Minnesota. One of the important dimensions of the mission of LFM is its support of research contributing to medical discovery of the cause, improved treatments, and cure for lupus.

Since 1981, the Foundation has paid out over 2.3 million dollars to fund researchers, support student fellowships and to provide direct grants to individual clients in crisis. Grant and research funding is made possible through an established endowment, individual gifts, and proceeds raised as a result of fundraising events and activities sponsored by the Foundation.
