Lupus Walk for Hope & 5K Run
The City of Duluth and Mayor Emily Larson have proclaimed October 15 as “Lupus Awareness Day” in the city on the Lake Superior shore. The proclamation coincides with the sixth annual Lupus Walk for Hope & 5K Run-Duluth, and further amplifying awareness, Enger Tower, a five-story beacon atop the Duluth skyline, will be aglow in lupus purple the night before the event.

With 24 years as a support group leader behind her, Jan Jundt continues to defy the odds through family and humor

Two of Minnesota’s very best poker players, Blake Bohn and Matt Alexander, have made a very generous and very exciting pledge to the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota.

A record-breaking 1,400 participants gathered in Plymouth and Rochester on September 14 and September 28 respectively to help raise funds and awareness for lupus at the annual Lupus Walk for Hope and 5K Run events. To-date the Twin Cities walk alone raised over $65,000. With the event in Rochester this past weekend, and Duluth’s event still on the horizon, slated for this Saturday, October 5, we are looking towards a banner year in the fight against lupus.
