The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota funds researchers primarily at local institutions to find a cure and more effective treatments for lupus patients. The first clinical research grant was paid out in 1995. Since that time, over 39 grants have been made to researchers working on lupus-related research totaling over 1.97 million dollars. For information on funded researchers and projects, visit our news page. Applications for funding are generally accepted in November with funding awarded at years end for the subsequent year.
