Lunchtime Yoga Clinic: Hatha Yoga
|Date:||Wednesday, March 26, 2014|
|Time:||12:00 pm – 1:00 pm|
|Location:||Lupus Foundation of Minnesota Office, Bloomington|
Have you ever wanted to try yoga and gone to a class where you had difficulty following along because you didn’t know the basics (or speak Sanskrit)? This introductory one-hour clinic will deconstruct and review three fundamental hatha yoga poses that will provide you with a basic foundation with which to join an existing class, or to help launch you on your own unique journey of practice. Deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on Monday, March 24.
Yoga has many benefits including helping us gain an increased flexibility, greater sense of balance, increased strength and the opportunity to practice “presence” and breathe. This class will provide extra time and assistance in moving in and out of yoga poses and postures and all moves can be adapted to each individual. Three poses will be worked on at each one-hour clinic.
Space is limited, so register early. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat. If you do not have a mat, please indicate so when you register.*
