Get on board for the Fatigue Management Program, a free six-week program designed specifically for those living with lupus offered May 1 through June 5 … A unifying and often overwhelming symptom of lupus is fatigue; take this opportunity to learn how you can lessen the impact fatigue has on your life! The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota and St. Catherine University Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Occupational Therapy Department collaborated to develop a first of its kind six-week fatigue management program designed specifically for adults living with lupus. We are offering bonus six-week session(s) this spring in addition to the programs that are run in the fall.
The Fatigue Management Program delves into the origins of fatigue, provides direction for implementing adaptive tools and techniques that can positively impact daily life, and identifies realistic changes in habits and activities for participants that can increase ones ability to plan and engage in meaningful and important activities.
The program’s unique design offers a comfortable and supportive environment where participants share ideas and concerns paired with access to knowledgeable professionals providing an exceptionally well-rounded learning experience creating knowledge, techniques, tools and communication strategies designed for daily use.
Space is limited to 10 participants per session. Sessions run one day per week, two hours per session.
By registering for this event, you’re registering for the six week session, which includes sessions on May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and June 5.
