LFM Vice President of Client Services Cheryl Como, LICSW, will present the workshop “Ethics and Chronic Disease” at the 2012 Minnesota Social Service Association’s (MSSA) 119th Annual Training Conference & Expo, YOUnited. As chronic disease diagnoses rise, service providers find themselves facing ever-changing dilemmas as to how best address the psychosocial impacts and on-going medical complications faced by their clients. The workshop will focus on communication paths and decision-making techniques that will empower clients and aid in ethical working relationships, grounded in a shared purpose.
