If you’re living with a chronic condition such as lupus, join certified fitness trainer Regan Mizuno, creator of Regan MOVES, for a low-torque strength, low-impact cardio interval workout to help you increase energy and decrease pain. Strengthen the muscles that support your joints without creating pressure points of intense impact. All exercise can be done from a chair if needed. The intensity level can be varied.

Living Well with Lupus as a Youth Seminar
Did you know approximately 20% of people living with lupus are diagnosed in their childhood? Being a youth can be challenging, let alone a youth living with lupus. In this seminar, Mona Riskalla, M.D., and Kiana Johnson, Ph.D., will discuss the unique aspects of being a youth living with lupus, including the transition from pediatric to adult health care, as well as general strategies to better manage the disease through nutrition, exercise, and supplements.

Lupus Food and Wine Classic 2015
As we kick off Lupus Awareness Month, join LFM for the annual Lupus Food and Wine Classic fundraiser, an evening to enjoy some of the Twin Cities’ best culinary delights and regional/state wine tasting. Sip and nibble while taking in live entertainment and shopping the silent auction and wine wall Proceeds from this year’s live auction event will help support educational opportunities for youth, including LFM’s SSF program, and summer camp for youth living with lupus, among others.
