Managing Chronic Disease: Professional Partnering with Patients through the Building Block Approach

The goal of the program is to examine thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and actions in the patient/professional relationship and steps for building a collaborative partnership. The techniques and tools are designed to keep the lines of communication open while addressing the varying complications, symptoms and emotions that occur in the lives of those touched by a chronic illness. This program is being offered in collaboration with Century College Helping Professions Department. Six Continuing Education hours are awarded. Registration required.
